Job Description: |
• Design and implement efficient end to end transaction processes with appropriate controls.
• Design and implement financial information systems including policy recommendations.
• Persuasively communicate processes and controls to non finance colleagues to drive efficiency.
• Prepare monthly management account.
• Design and implement key Performance Indicators (KPI) for tracking effectiveness and cost transaction processing.
• Design and implement service level agreements with internal business partners i.e. marketing and property development divisions.
• Ensure local reporting processes and timely interpretation of results.
• Prepare financial reporting for the group WESTFOSTER.
• Ensure annual audit is completed on time and to cost.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP’s.
• Ensure decent ROI at all times.
• Design and implement budget monitoring systems including communicating roles.
• Working around the current budget in order to generate a common platform for corporate business review and control purposes.
• Prepare cash flow forecast reports including commentary on monthly activity reports
• Prepare budget variance report on profit and loss account with its comments.
• Manage the company plan process to ensure quality plan delivered on time.
• Implement local resource allocation as part of planning process through critically reviewed functional budget.
• Negotiate credit terms in accordance with business strategy.
• Prepare investment analysis, provide explanation where necessary.
• Provide education to non finance staff on meanings of decision support tools.
• Provide back – office support and risk analysis for the Asset Management division.
• Work with auditors to produce statutory accounts.
• Compliance with local tax regulations.
• Regular preparation and completion of local corporate tax returns, VAT, WHT & PAYEE as reconciled with the General Ledger.
• Prepare a methodology for internal audit.
• Ensure that control systems are effective and efficient and it is value adding.
• Review and implement relevant Finance Procedures that affect day to day operations i.e. Third party Transactions

• Supervise and monitor the day to day activities of all Subsidiaries and Finance and Operation units.
• To perform any duty as may be assigned by the Executive Vice Chairman.
• Business and financial strategy and planning, monitoring, management and reporting, including management and development of policies, systems, processes and personnel involved.
• Reporting and accounting as per regulatory requirements including taxation, dividends, annual report and accounts.
